We spent an absolutely wonderful long weekend at a secluded cabin on a vineyard outside Occidental. We wandered around and had a dinner of samosas, paneer curry, and mango lassis sidewalk-style at the Occidental farmer's market on Friday evening.
We breakfasted at the adorable and super tasty Willow Wood Cafe Market in Graton.
We drove.
To the coast.
And we spent an afternoon in Point Reyes Station. We browsed through Point Reyes Books and picked up Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food (reading now), The Philosophical Baby, and a beautifully illustrated copy of Treasure Island (for the kid). The owner, Steve, gave us this lovely Michael Pollan broadside, which I'm going to have framed to hang in our kitchen.
We also visited Cowgirl Creamery and picked up picnic fixings for a lazy evening reading back at the cabin.
And, here's a belly shot from the weekend. Me at 18.5 weeks.
